Montefiore cheeses are made using time honoured Italian recipes. Products include mascarpone, bocconcini, ovoline, ricotta, fiordilatte, trecce and mozzarella. Our products have been showcased at major cheese festivals in Australia and abroad, with many of them winning awards.
Our cheeses feature the finest ingredients. Milk is sourced from audited suppliers to ensure the consistency in the quality of raw materials. Good quality ingredients and a commitment to produce the very best have resulted in a product which has received many awards.
The Montefiore cheese plant is located in Thomastown, Victoria. It operates under the strict guidelines of Dairy Foods Safety Victoria and is an export approved premises. This state of the art production plant has the capacity to produce in excess of 100,000 litres of product per week and supplies independent supermarkets, delis and restaurants all over Australia and South-East Asia.
